Girls Behind The Rock Show Turns 4!

Over 7000 women and gender-nonconforming people have engaged the organization to find jobs, advice, community and belonging over the last four years.

Email may be one of the oldest communication methods used in modern marketing, but it remains one of the most effective messaging channels. Businesses are using email marketing to engage with their audience and create conversations effectively through sending the right email. Campaign Monitor conducted a survey and discovered that U.S. respondents prefer receiving email updates from brands, and 52% check their personal email more than 10 times a day. Regardless of what industry you’re in, the best way to keep in touch with prospects and customers is through email marketing. By sending the right email, your business will build trust, develop a relationship with your audience, and in turn, this could lead to a growth in revenue. Simple Truths in PR

I love TEDx Talks. Aside from the provocation of thought and genuine inspiration, they provide a platform for really beautifully spoken humans to share ideas that an entire industry believes. Today I listened to a TEDx Talk from 2016 that perfectly illustrated some of my core beliefs about public relations and I wanted to share it here on the blog. Fast, effective, and socially integrated. Email marketing is critical for modern public relations professionals. Here’s why:

PR is a process (but we still need it to move quickly). From Constant Contact to Mail Chimp, there is no reason for a business professional to NOT be using an email marketing platform that is set up for automation. Not only do PR pros need to maintain lead lists and segment for effectiveness, but they also need to be able to send out a targeted email blast that conveys a timely message in an easy to digest way.
